An Angel Such As You
Your Love,
Lifts me higher
than the Garden of the Gods,
And sends me flying
high through the stars.

Your Love,
Is like the gift
of many flowers,
All different and serene.
The leaves clinging to a tree
Is how our love feels to me,
As I cling to thee.

You ignite the love in my heart,
You've known this from the start,
Ever since my eyes fell upon you,
The world to me has been
such a better place.

I listen to the sound,

It sounds like an angel
serenade to the heavenly
Lord above.

Your eyes sparkle
like the stars in heaven,
And when they look to me,

A Gift from God
As I sat, I started to weep,
I told the Lord, my heart I do not want to keep.
It has let me down and caused me pain,
Please take me Lord before I go insane.

As I looked up toward the skies,
What what should appear before my eyes,
An Angel, as white as snow,
The angel said, "This you must know,
It is not your time to be taken,
For your heart shall be awaken.

For the Lord has sent a gift of love,
I have carried this within my wings from above."
Beneath the wings the gift did hide,
Until the Angel opened them wide.

As I looked into the Angels wings,
The birds began to chirp and sing,
This gift is sent to you from God

For you both have good souls,
Together you make each other whole.
As the Angel disappeared,
We drew each other near.
As we looked into each others eyes,
The voice came down from the skies,
"My word to you will be,
Your lives together is for eternity."
